Boston did more than win one game after the All-Star break.

The Red Sox swept a doubleheader against Tampa Bay at Fenway Park, winning the opener 10-0 and taking the second game 5-3.

Carlos Narváez drove in three runs in Game 1, while Jake Bennett and Alec Gamboa combined on the shutout. In Game 2, Wilyer Abreu homered twice and drove in three more.

Boston record: 48-48 · Winning streak: 11 games

The sweep pushed Boston back to .500 and extended its winning streak to 11 games.

It also made a real move on the BaseChaser board. The Red Sox climbed to 52.6% playoff odds, up 9.3 points.

That matters because Boston is no longer just a hot team trying to get noticed. The Red Sox are now sitting above the middle of the playoff bubble, with the second half just getting started.
