The 2026 Home Run Derby looked like it was built for Philadelphia.
Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper had the home crowd at Citizens Bank Park, and Schwarber reached the final with a chance to finish the night in front of Phillies fans.
Jordan Walker changed the story.
Walker eliminated Junior Caminero in the semifinal, then beat Schwarber 12-11 in the final to win the Derby. MLB.com reported that Walker became the first Cardinal to win the event.
