Daulton Varsho started the comeback in the seventh with a three-run homer. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Kazuma Okamoto scored on the play.

In the eighth, Alejandro Kirk singled to bring in Myles Straw. Guerrero Jr. followed with an RBI single that scored George Springer and tied the game at 5-5.

Okamoto then hit a three-run homer that scored Yohendrick Piñango and Guerrero Jr., giving Toronto an 8-5 lead.
