The Astros beat the Marlins 5-3 on July 21, handing Miami its eighth straight loss.

Houston took control in the fifth after Miami had trimmed the lead to 2-1. Isaac Paredes broke the game open with a three-run homer, giving the Astros the cushion they needed.
